Fitness Reimbursement Program

Sometimes, we all need a little extra motivation to reach our health goals. With Harvard Pilgrim’s fitness reimbursement program, you are awarded for making your health a priority!

The reimbursement applies to fees you pay toward a fitness facility, fitness classes, or other qualified membership.*  You must be a member in a qualified fitness program for at least four months in a calendar year.

Eligible expenses include:

  • Virtual fitness class subscriptions*
  • Membership fees paid toward a full-service health or fitness facility that has cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, and facilities for exercising and improving physical fitness.
  • Fitness studio facilities that offer classes, like yoga, Zumba, spin, kickboxing and more

* Maximum annual reimbursement is $150 each for up to two members on a family medical plan. Program eligibility and benefits may vary by state. You must be currently enrolled in Harvard Pilgrim at the time of reimbursement. Fitness facility membership or virtual fitness subscription must be for at least four months in the current calendar year. Restrictions apply, and reimbursement is not available to all members. Fitness reimbursement may be considered taxable income. For tax information, consult your tax advisor.

Once you submit your request, reimbursement takes up to eight weeks. We encourage you to submit your request online on the Harvard Pilgrim website, www.harvardpilgrim.org for faster reimbursement. Click here for the Reimbursement Form and more details.

Good Health Gateway® Diabetes Care Rewards Program

If you or a covered dependent have been diagnosed with any form of diabetes, we encourage you to participate in this voluntary and confidential program. Participants will receive assistance in managing their diabetes and will qualify to receive covered diabetes medications and supplies at a $0 copay, once all of the program’s requirements have been met.
